SGW BYPASS GATEWAY extension 45cm for the FCA

SGW - Extension for OnBoradDiagnosis.

Technical data:

• This is a bundle of two pairs of CBD0002 products (two 12-pin extension cables and two 8-pin extension cables, each 45cm/18" long) The CBD0002 set itself is a pair of SGW extension cables (12-pin and 8-pin) for the following FCA vehicles where the SGW is present as a separate unit near OBD or BCM*: Alfa Romeo: Giulia, Stelvio (iNAFTA: 2. 2018+/EMEA 4.2018+ production including MY2020-22) Jeep: Renegade, Compass, Wrangler, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee Fiat: 500L, 500X, Doblo Dodge: Challenger, Charger, Durango RAM: 1500 *SGWs have only been introduced as an external module since 2017/2018 in some newer FCA/Stellantis vehicles (model dependent). These can be bypassed and harnesses expanded as needed. However, since 2021 production, some completely redesigned models (not minor facelifts, i.e. new designs such as Alfa Romeo Tonale) have SGW installed in the BCM (body computer), and these are not supported by our bypass solutions. The use of two pairs of extension cables is recommended by most customers. The user no longer needs to disconnect from the SGW, as the connection of the SGW bypass (not included/sold separately) is done in the middle between the extension cables, so it is much easier and less risky. In Alfa Romeo Giulia with two sets/pairs allows easy connections of SGW bypass through under-steering wheel pillar opening (see attached photos), and in Alfa Romeo Stelvio so easy enough SGW bypass installation after only removing glasses compartment (~5 minutes work vs ~1h) allows.
